US Rubio India Jaishankar meet India’s Foreign Minister

India’s Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar on Tuesday met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in the United States capital Washington. The meetings comes a day after US President Donald Trump announced a tariff-cutting trade deal with India, reducing rates to 18% from 50%. In exchange, India will halt Russian oil purchases, lower its trade barriers, and buy more US goods, Trump said.
