US President Biden welcomes Spanish prime minister to the White House

US President Joe Biden welcomes Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez to the White House, where they will discuss several topics as Spain takes on the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union in July.

Sanchez tells Biden that Spain has many goals, including to "reindustrialize" the European Union and strengthening the region's ties to Latin America, a part of the world where Spain and the US "have common interests about democracy, prosperity and safe, regular and orderly migration pathways.
