US joins Russia and Ukraine for peace talks

Negotiators from the United States have joined peace talks between Russia and Ukraine for the first time. The meeting began on Friday in the United Arab Emirates and will last for two days. The three US representatives include special envoy Steve Witkoff and US President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner. They had previously met Putin and two other Russian aides on Thursday night.
