World leaders have arrived in Canada for the 51st G7 Summit, which is taking place from June 16 to 17, in Kananaskis, Alberta.

Hosted by Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, the summit brings together leaders from the G7 nations—Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States—as well as invited guests, India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and South Korea's President Lee Jae-myung.

The summit is being held at the Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge, a venue with historical significance, having hosted G8 meetings in the past. The location also highlights Canada's commitment to Indigenous heritage, with local First Nations leaders participating in the event.

As the summit progresses, leaders are expected to engage in bilateral meetings and collaborative discussions aimed at addressing global challenges and strengthening international cooperation.
