



An American cave expert who was trapped in a Turkish cave was rescued on the 9th day after the teams worked. US speleologist Mark Dickey was trapped at a depth of more than 3,280 feet in Morca Cave, which he entered on September 3 to conduct scientific studies. 196 search and rescue experts from 8 countries mobilized to rescue Dickey, who suffered from a stomach illness in the cave at a depth of 1,276 meters.
On September 9, the speleologist was brought to the camp established at a depth of 400 meters as part of the evacuation efforts. Necessary medical interventions were made by doctors. The process was completed on the 9th day and the cave scientist was rescued from where he was trapped. Dickey was taken to Mersin City Hospital by military helicopter.
