U.S.-China relationship “extremely strong”

U.S. President Donald Trump said he held a “very good” telephone call with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Trump said both sides have made significant progress in keeping bilateral agreements updated and accurate, adding that relations between Washington and Beijing remain “extremely strong.” He also noted that President Xi invited him to visit Beijing in April, an invitation he accepted. Trump said he reciprocated by inviting Xi for a state visit to the United States later in the year.
