U.S and Venezuela sign energy cooperation agreement

US Energy Secretary Chris Wright met with Venezuela’s Acting President, Delcy Rodríguez, at the Miraflores Palace, Venezuela to advance an energy cooperation agenda, covering electricity, mining, gas, and oil. As part of his visit, he will tour oil fields in the east of the country and the Orinoco Belt.

He also conveyed a message from President Donald Trump in which he expressed his commitment to a new era of peace, work, and prosperity in bilateral relations.
