US actress Ellen Pompeo reflects on 'Good American Family' role,

Ellen Pompeo, renowned for her role as Meredith Grey in "Grey's Anatomy," is currently starring in Hulu's limited series "Good American Family." The series delves into the complexities and controversies surrounding Natalia's adoption and the ensuing challenges faced by her adoptive family.

So once I got the script and I read it and I spoke to the writer, Katie Robbins, she explained to me just that as well, that that was her experience as well, that everybody had a different opinion as to what happened and why do we have these opinions. And so many people were convinced it was this way or it was this way. So I thought that was a compelling reason to tell the story."  

She expressed a hope that viewers would learn to exercise less judgment and more empathy, reflecting on the human tendency to make swift judgments without understanding the full context.
