Upholding Nationalism and Education: Prime Minister meets members of YMBA (Central)

Honorary Patron of Young Men’s Buddhist Association (YMBA) AggaMahaMingalaDhammaJotikadhaja Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing held a meeting with members of YMBA (Central) in Yangon Region on Saturday.
The YMBA Chairman reported on conducting of Abhidhamma and Cultural Courses and language courses as well as participation of YMBA members in public services, relief and rescue measures and plans for construction of new building for YMBA.
The Prime Minister emphasized that since its establishment, the YMBA aims to promote nationalism, religion, Sasana, and education, which are the duties of the nation and its citizens. He stressed the need to nurture the spirit of good fervor among youths to safeguard nationalism, religion, Sasana, and education while staying on the correct path.
Leaders of YMBA in successive eras are urged to carry out these tasks with a wide range of knowledge. Highlighting the enforcement of the People’s Military Service Law, the Prime Minister stressed that there are instigations based on fake news and disinformation, without studying the details of the law. He urged YMBA members from various areas to understand the law themselves, providing correct awareness to the public.
The Union Ministers and officials later made discussions on various issues, including people’s rights to true news, awareness on the People’s Military Service Law, ensuring the safety of health sector, youth development, and building union spirit and nationalistic fever among the citizens.
In response to the reports, the Prime Minister discussed that the government is make all-out efforts for achieving a well-organized strength for building a nation. He called for the strength of YMBA to achieve national integration for safeguarding the nationalism, religion, Sasana and education.
