Union Parliament: 13th Regular Session Of 2nd Union Parliament Concluded

The Union Parliament holds 26th and the final day of 13th regular session with 13 agenda on Friday.

First, the patron of the union parliament notified the parliament regarding with the 2nd Bill Amending the 2008 Constitution submitted by Brigadier General Aung San Chit, Tatmataw representative for National Parliament as it was signed by a total of 144 union parliament representatives.

Next, the patron of the union parliament notified the parliament regarding with the 2nd Bill Amending the 2008 Constitution submitted by U Sai Than Naing of the constituency (5) of Kayin State, Tatmataw representative for National Parliament as it was signed by a total of 145 union parliament representatives.

The deputy minister for construction U Kyaw Lin clarified the expenditure of over 1.8 billion kyats by the ministry of construction from the emergency fund included union budget for 2018-2019 fiscal year, send by the president.

Deputy minister for planning and finance U Maung Maung Win explained about canceling the 200 million USD of development policy loan under the World Bank’s 17th financing program sent by the president. The union minister for agriculture, livestock breeding and irrigation Dr. Aung Thu clarified the parliament about 185 million USD loan from Asian Development Bank for Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation to implement public development projects sent by the President.

The MPs discussed the matter on signing ASEAN Mutual Recognition Arrangement on Type Approval for Automotive Products – APMRA sent by the president. Afterwards, the patron of union parliament gave the speech of conclusion of 2nd union parliament’s 13th regular session.
