Union National Races Village: MOEA Union Minister inspects the upgrading works

After attending the Kayin Traditional White Thread Tying (Wrist Tying) Ceremony, Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs Jeng Phang Naw Taung, along with officials, inspected the construction of the Pontoon Bridge in the Union National Races Village.

During the visit, officials provided updates on the construction progress, and the Union Minister gave necessary instructions. Then, they toured the traditional houses representing various ethnic groups, including Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Bamar, Mon, Rakhine, and Shan, as well as the Palace Tower.

After the tour, the Union Minister met with the staff of the Union National Races Village (Yangon) and the Regional Directorate Office. He emphasized the importance of systematically maintaining the facilities and providing detailed explanations to visitors with a genuine spirit of unity.

He also called for cooperation and collaboration in upgrading the facilities, under the close supervision of the Yangon Region Government.
