The Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing delivered an address at the Union Government meeting held at the meeting hall of the SAC Chairman’s office in Nay Pyi Taw on 3rd December.
The meeting was also attended by the SAC Vice Chairman Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe win, Union Ministers, Union level officials, Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council, Chin State Chief Minister and officials in person and the Chief Ministers of Regions and States through Video Conferencing.
In his opening address at the meeting, the SAC Chairman stated that the State Administration Council (SAC) has established forward-looking processes and directions to promote the country’s development. These include the Five-point-roadmap, which reflect the nation's objectives and political aspirations, and the Nine Objectives, which constitute the policies of the State and summarize the responsibilities of the government.
Implementation of these tasks is carried out directly by respective ministries, as well as under the direct execution of the State. For example, regarding the political direction of ensuring "a genuine and disciplined multi-party democratacy system and building a Union based on democracy and federalism," the activities being implemented are designed to support the creation of a federal system grounded in democracy.
All states and regions are expected to align with this approach. Responsibilities and authorities have been delegated step-by-step, and it is essential for them to implement these tasks effectively and appropriately.Similarly, for the priority of achieving "lasting nationwide peace through emphasizing the implementation of the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA)," responsibilities are distributed across various levels.
The Union Government oversees national-level implementation, while ministries, states, and regions also have specific duties. Departmental efforts also contribute to this process. By following these layered approaches, peace-related political directions can be more effectively implemented.
These examples illustrate the SAC’s broader objectives, emphasizing that each of the established priorities and directions carries significant meaning. The Union Government and regional governments are responsible for implementing them in practice.
To ensure success, a continuous review and assessment of progress are essential. The SAC Chairman also urged to put exerted effort for the works to be implemented, to carry out for the development of production to reduce the commodity prices, regarding the accuracy and reliability of statistical data, I would like to provide further clarification.

However, discrepancies have been observed between the reported export data and the actual amount of exports, similarly, with regard to rice, annual surpluses are reported, yet there is a noticeable gap between the quantity of surplus rice and the amount exported.
This highlights inconsistencies in the data and emphasizes the need for accurate and reliable statistical information, to build the future nation by implementing Green Zone Areas, it’s needed to create the job opportunities to be country with production ability, to implement for the domestic efficiency of cooking oil, it’s needed to seek the approval in principle regarding with the implementation of new projects etc.
