Union Day in Shan State: Chief Minister read the message sent by SAC chairman

The 78th Anniversary Union Day commemorative flag-raising ceremony were held at Away-Yar Ground in Taunggyi, Shan State in the morning on February 12 and was attended by State Ministers, State Advocate General, State/District/Township level departmental officials, local stationed Tatmadaw members and police members, ethnic cultural groups and officials.

First, at 7 a.m., the 78th Anniversary Union Day message-reading ceremony was held at Away-Yar Ground and the Military columns marched, and saluted to State Chief Minister U Aung Aung.

The message sent by the Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing, for the 78th Anniversary Union Day commemorative event, was read by the State Chief Minister U Aung Aung and the ceremony was concluded, it’s reported.
