Union Day Dinner: President And First Lady Hosted Dinner Marked 73rd Anniversary Union Day

The Republic of the Union of Myanmar, President U Win Myint and First Lady Daw Cho Cho hosted a reception and dinner to commemorate the 73rd Anniversary Union Day in the square in front of Nay Pyi Taw City Hall in the evening on 12th February.

President U Win Myint, First Lady Daw Cho Cho arrived at the dinner venue at 6 p.m. and were welcomed by Vice President U Myint Swe and wife Daw Khin Thet Htay, Union Minister Dr. Pe Myint and wife, union minister U Ohn Maung, union minister Nai Thet Lwin and wife and chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council Dr. Myo Aung and wife.

Next, President U Win Myint, First Lady Daw Cho Cho cordially greeted the Union level officials, Union Ministers, high ranking Tatmadaw officers, states/regions ethnic national ministers, Hluttaw representatives, the leaders and representatives of NCA signatories EAOs, chairmen and leaders of the political parties, and states/regions ethnic national culture troupes who attended the dinner.

Afterwards the President and First Lady had dinner together with attendees while Myanma Radio’s modern music troupe together with ethnic nationals provided entertainment with songs.

The dinner was attended by vice president U Myint Swe and wife Daw Khin Thet Htay, vice president U Henry Van Thio and wife Dr. Shwe Lywan, speaker of people’s parliament U T Khun Myat and wife Daw Yin May, speaker of national parliament Mann Win Khine Than and wife Nant Kyin Kyi, chief justice of the supreme court of the union U Tun Tun Oo, commander in chief of defense services senior general Min Aung Hlaing, chairman of constitutional tribunal U Myo Nyunt, deputy commander in chief of defense services vice senior general Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than Nwe, deputy speaker of national parliament U Aye Than Aung, union ministers, union attorney general, union auditor general, chairman of peace commission, chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council, The governor of the central bank of Myanmar, chairman of anti-corruption commission, chairman of Myanamr national human rights commission, chairman of union legal supporting group, senior Tatmataw officers and their wives, Judges of the Supreme Court of the union, members of state constitutional tribunal, members of union election commission, chairmen and members of parliamentary affairs committees, commander of Nay Pyi Taw command, deputy ministers, deputy attorney general, members of Union Civil Service Board, members of Nay Pyi Taw Council, regions and states ministers for ethnic affairs, members of anti-corruption commission, vice chairman and members of Myanmar national human rights commission, Parliament representatives, chairmen and leaders of political parties, leaders and representatives of NCA signatories EAOs, departmental officials, states/regions ethnic national culture troupes and invited guests.

After the dinner, the President, First Lady and the guests were entertained by artists from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture and states/ regions cultural dance troupes in the City Hall open-air stadium.
