Union Day commemorative dinner: Shan State Chief Minister attended the event

The 78th Anniversary Union Day commemorative dinner was held at the City Hall in Taunggyi on February 12.

During the event, guests enjoyed the dinner prepared to honour the 78th Anniversary Union Day, followed by a cultural performance program. Ethnic cultural dance troupes, including Shan, Htanaw , Taungyoe , Pa-O, Intha, Danu, Kokang, and Yin Net , as well as students from Taunggyi Education Degree College, Taunggyi University, and the University of Medicine (Taunggyi), performed traditional dances, including the Chin bamboo dance.

After that, Shan State Government Chief Minister U Aung Aung and wife presented flower basket of honor and cash awards to the traditional ethnic cultural troupes in recognition of their contributions.
