UN report: Climate on track to warm by nearly 3°C

A UN report released on Monday has sounded another alarm on climate change.

It says the world faces 2.5 to 2.9°C of warming above pre-industrial levels if governments do not boost action.

That's well above the target of 1.5°C adopted by the Paris Agreement.
