United Nations High Commissioner for Refugess (UNHCR) warns of the increasing difficulty in assisting people inside neighboring Sudan, amidst a war that has raged since April 2023.

Filippo Grandi, UN High Commissioner for Refugees said "We are really asking all the parties to give access to humanitarians because our presence there is insufficient to help the people in need and especially to bring the food and the other supplies that are needed for people that otherwise risk starvation, big time!"

Food and the other supplies that are needed for people that otherwise risk starvation. The conflict has left tens of thousands dead and displaced millions of people, according to the UN.
