Ukrainian evacuees arrive in Brovary, east of Kyiv

A convoy of vehicles carrying residents who had been evacuated from the Ukrainian village of Bobryk arrived in Brovary, a city east of the capital Kyiv, on Sunday. The convoy included 20 buses and 250 cars, carrying around 1,600 people in total, including 843 children.

Since Russia attacked Ukraine more than three weeks ago, over 3.38 million people have fled the country, according to the United Nations refugee agency. Altogether, 10 million people have fled their homes - more than 6 million of them have been displaced internally.
