Ukraine, Poland reopen key crossing after upgrade

Ukraine and Poland on Tuesday reopened one of the busiest border crossings between them, the Korczowa-Krakovets, after it was shut down for around a month to upgrade the facility and increase its capacity.
The restoration of bus services will relieve the burden on other checkpoints and minimize queues for passengers crossing the border. The terminal will be able to receive up to 30 buses daily. They have already increased the number of lanes for trucks from 4 to 10, and created additional pavilions for customs and passport control.Previously, Ukraine and Poland, within the "Open Border" project, had agreed to increase the throughput capacity of the border crossing by at least 50%.
