UK, US and allies conduct new strikes on Houthis targets in Yemen

The US and UK, along with other countries conducted strikes on Houthi targets in Yemen on 3rd February. These strikes were in response to the Houthi attacks on international shipping. The objective of the strikes, as stated by the UK Ministry of Defense, was to disrupt the Houthi capabilities.

The targets included weapons storage facilities, missile systems, air defense systems, and radars. The militaries of Australia, Bahrain, Canada, Denmark, the Netherlands and New Zealand also provided support, according to a joint statement released on behalf of all nations involved in Saturday's actions.
