UK says missiles fired in direction of Cyprus during Iran conflict

Britain's Defence Secretary said Sunday that Iranian retaliatory attacks to US-Israeli strikes included two ballistic missiles fired in the direction of Cyprus, but which were likely not targeted at the Mediterranean island.

He told the reporters that they weren't targeted at Cyprus, but it demonstrated how their military bases and civilians were at risk. He also accused Iran of being indiscriminate and uncontrolled in the attacks. He stressed that alongside the US, they had stepped up defensive forces in the Middle East and they were ready to take down the drones threating bases and people.
