UK royals visit ancient Mayan site in Belize

Britain's Prince William and his wife Kate - the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge - visited an ancient Mayan site in Belize on Monday as they continued their tour of Central America and the Caribbean.

After their visit to the Caracol archaeological site in the Cayo region of Belize, the royals were due to attend a special reception hosted by the Governor-General at the Mayan ruins at Cahal Pech. Later the royal couple will leave for Jamaica, where their tour continues.
