UK Royal Mint strikes special coin for Princess Anne's 75th birthday

The UK's Royal Mint produces a commemorative coin ahead of the 75th birthday of Princess Anne, the Princess Royal on 15 August.

Anne is the second child and only daughter of the late Queen Elizabeth II.  The Royal Mint coin designer and sculptor said Princess Anne has an understated elegance and strength and that was really what he wanted to capture in the design. By observing Princess Anne and looking at the role that she plays within not only her family, but the nation and the Commonwealth, formed inspiration for the design of the coin.
