UK Prime Minister Starmer meets new Wales First Minister Morgan

Britain's Prime Minister Keir Starmer met newly-appointed Wales First Minister Eluned Morgan in Cardiff. Morgan is the third leader of the country this year.

She was health secretary from 2021 until she succeeded Vaughan Gething, himself a former health secretary as leader of Welsh Labour on 24 July. Both Starmer and Morgan are members of Britain's center-left Labour Party. They have discussed the Welsh steel industry in their first meeting since taking over their respective roles.
