UK Prime Minister perspective on Online Crime

After a week of rioting across England and in Northern Ireland, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said online activity is 'not a law-free zone', everyone involved in unrest will be prosecuted.

The violence was triggered by misinformation about the identity of the man suspected of stabbing three children to death in Southport in the north of England ten days ago.

In the last couple of days, thousands of counter-protestors have turned out for rival demonstrations. Almost 500 people have been arrested and close to 150 charged. The Prime Minister was speaking on a visit to main police control room in London.
