

Britain's Councillor Jeremy Hunt said that the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank holds a "serious risk" to the country's technology and life sciences sectors. Speaking to British broadcaster Sky, Hunt said that the bank looked after money for the UK's "most promising and exciting businesses.
"He added that he had held discussions with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and the Bank of England on cashflow plans for businesses for the short term.Hunt also commented on the government's upcoming spring budget, stating that it would be a "very exciting plan for the future of our country that will make us one of the most prosperous in the world."He acknowledged that Britons want a "responsible" Chancellor and government ahead of Wednesday's budget announcement.
