UK’s economy returns to growth, boosting new government

The UK’s finance minister Rachel Reeves welcomed the higher-than-expected GDP figures, which came in at 0.4 percent growth in May, and lists changes the incoming Labour government has already announced, but says there is “a lot more to do”. She also said that the government is “determined to get a grip on the water sector” amid a financial crisis at Thames Water, Britain’s largest supplier.
