UEC announcement: UEC rejected application of Union Development Party

According to the verification responses of the relevant ministries regarding the Union Development Party’s application to be registered as a political party under Section 5 of the Political Parties Registration Law, it was found that it does not comply with the provisions of Section 6 of the Political Parties Registration Law.

According to the decision of the Union Election Commission Plenary Session No 2/2024, the Union Election Commission now rejected the party’s application for party registration in Form (G) of the Political Parties Registration Rules, and it is announced that the remaining groups that applied for the registration of the party are also being verified.
