UAE sends Aid to Lebanon

The UAE loads aid to be transported to Lebanon amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.

Lebanese authorities said the violence has displaced more than one million people from their homes in the tiny Mediterranean country, already mired in economic and political crises.

The UAE’s President, Mohammed Bin Zayed, ordered the provision of emergency aid to be directed to Lebanese civilians who have sought refuge in Syria in recent weeks, with the Gulf leader authorizing six additional flights to transport the aid directly to Lebanon.
