U-25 Men’s Football Tournament 2024: Victory flag handed over to the Shan State football team

A ceremony to provide victory flag to the Shan State football team which will participate in Region and State U-25 Men’s Football Tournament 2024 took place at the training stadium in Taunggyi.

Speaking on the occasion, Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung said that Region and State U-25 Men’s Football Tournament 2024 is the first after its resumption, and urged all the athletes to try their best to achieve victory.

The Region and State Men’s Football Tournament has been held since 1952 for the first time and Shan state football team became the very first champion. Shan State football team had won champion award for ten times throughout the successive tournaments.

Moreover, Shan FC (Southern) team emerged as the champion of Upper Myanmar in FIFA MFF U- 15 Youth League 2023. The team also became the country’ Champion after beating lower Myanmar Champion Rakhine United.
