Two dead in multi-vehicle crash in Chicago

Chicago Police Superintendent David Brown says two people died in a multi-vehicle crash on Wednesday evening and 16 more were injured, including seven children.Brown said that a Dodge Charger was traveling at a very high rate of speed, going in the wrong direction, when it entered an intersection, hit seven other cars, stopped, and caught on fire.

The two people in that car died. Nine adults and seven minors were taken to hospitals. The Dodge Charger involved in the crash was reported stolen earlier in Markham Illinois, a Chicago suburb.A "long-rifle type of firearm" was also discovered in the vehicle.
