Two dead and two injured in stabbing at multiple locations in Holon

Two people died and two others were wounded in a stabbing attack in central Israel on Sunday.

The Magen David Adom emergency service said in a statement that the “terrorist attack” took place in several locations in Holon, a southern suburb of Israel’s commercial hub of Tel Aviv. A woman was pronounced dead at the scene, one man died in a hospital, other two victims were seriously injured.

The attack took places in number of venues, and eventually the police shot the assailant. He was then brought to Shamir Medical Center in critical condition, where his death was later declared by hospital officials. The attacker is identified as Amar Odeh from the West Bank city of Salfit who did not have a permit to enter Israel, a security source said.
