Turkmenistan celebrates the 30th anniversary of cooperation with UNESCO

The 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s cooperation with UNESCO and the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage were celebrated in Balkan Velayat of Turkmenistan.

At the exhibition organized in the city history and local history museum, the ancient cultural values ​​of the Turkmen people, such as the art of making dutars, the art of embroidery and jewelry, were widely revealed.

The events were organized jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the Secretariat of the National Committee of Turkmenistan for UNESCO.
