Turkiye-Iran agriculture cooperation

Turkiye-Iran Cooperation Agricultural Development Conference was held in Ankara on Friday.

The Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry and the Iranian Minister of Agriculture attended the meeting with their delegations.

The two ministers spoke at the opening of the meeting. Turkish Minister said that they will continue to diversify and develop areas of cooperation with Iran.

He emphasized that Turkey has not terminated its commercial relations with Iran due to the sanctions imposed on Iran and will not terminate them in the future.

The Iranian Minister also emphasized regional cooperation in food security and international partnerships.
