Turkiye and UK signs the Eurofighter Typhoon project

A new agreement has been reached between Türkiye and the United Kingdom, the Eurofighter Typhoon project.

Following the contract for the procurement of aircraft, equipment, and munitions, a mutual understanding has been achieved to sign an additional agreement covering technical and logistical support for the maintenance and operation of the aircraft.

During Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler’s engagements in the United Kingdom, the technical and logistical support agreement for the maintenance, sustainment, and operation of the Eurofighter aircraft was signed. The procurement contract for the aircraft and munitions had previously been signed in October 2025. As of today, the project has entered a new phase.
