Turkish President hosts Malaysian Prime Minister

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan hosted Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim as his first official guest of 2026, highlighting deepening ties between the two countries.

Speaking at a joint press conference in Ankara, Erdoğan said Türkiye and Malaysia aim to increase bilateral trade volume to $10 billion, underlining the strong economic potential between the two nations. Erdoğan also emphasized continued coordination on regional and global issues.
