Turkish defense giants sign strategic agreements with Qatar's Barzan Holding in Doha

The heart of the global naval defense industry is beating in Qatar. Turkish companies are attracting great attention at the fair in the capital, Doha, with their unique and advanced naval defense systems.

ASFAT, which is Turkish state-owned defense contractor, is set to transfer its maritime success to Qatar.

The ASFAT General Manager announced a framework agreement for the maintenance of Qatar’s naval vessels and provided updates on Türkiye’s flagship project, the TF-2000 destroyer. Meanwhile, Turkish defense systems company HAVELSAN, bringing critical technologies to the Gulf, is increasing its effectiveness in the region with new collaborations, expanding its footprint beyond Qatar to Oman, the UAE, and Kuwait.
