Tunisia's 55th International Sahara Festival opens in Douz

The 55th edition of the prestigious International Sahara Festival opens from 27 to 30 December 2023 in the Tunisian city of Douz, featuring traditional rituals such as wedding parades, festive dances, camel races and other celebrations.                       

The festival celebrates the rich history of the berbere culture and the Mrazig tribe that prospered in the Tunisian Sahara for decades, enlightening the region with their art, music and timeless traditions.
