Trump will allow NVIDIA to export its H200 AI chips to China

US President Donald Trump said his administration will allow NVIDIA to export its H200 artificial intelligence chips to approved customers in China and other countries, under conditions designed to safeguard U.S. national security.

Trump said Chinese President Xi Jinping responded positively to the plan, which requires a 25 percent payment to the United States. He said the policy will support American jobs, strengthen U.S. manufacturing, and benefit taxpayers.
