Trump wants the United States to be 'the crypto capital of the planet'

Former US President Donald Trump said "the United States will be the crypto capital of the planet and the bitcoin superpower of the world" if he's elected in November.

In an address at Nashville’s Bitcoin2024 conference, the former president offered promises of sweeping deregulation and the establishment of a “strategic national Bitcoin stockpile.”

Trump's remarks came a day after independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. addressed the conference and also pitched launching a strategic bitcoin reserve.
