Trump signs executive order on Japan deal

An executive order signed by US President Donald Trump on Thursday implementing the Japan-US trade agreement requires a variety of new import obligations for Japan, while lowering tariffs on its automobile exports to the US. The order says Japan will provide American producers of various goods. It says these investments will generate hundreds of thousands of US jobs, and that the investments will be selected by the US government.
