Trump plans to speak with Putin to discuss dividing "certain assets" between the warring parties

US President Donald Trump announced plans to speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday to discuss efforts to end the ongoing conflict. 

Donald Trump, US President said  "We're doing pretty well, I think, with Russia. We'll see if we have something to announce maybe by Tuesday. I'll be speaking to President Putin on Tuesday. A lot of work's been done over the weekend. We want to see if we can bring that war to an end. Maybe we can, maybe we can't, but I think we have a very good chance."

Trump noted that discussions are already taking place regarding the division of certain assets between the warring parties. He also mentioned topics such as land and power plants, highlighting that the situation has changed significantly since the start of the conflict. Trump stated that both sides have been engaging in talks on these issues, with much of the discussion already underway.
