Trump delivers a speech on board the USS George Washington in Japan

US President Donald Trump delivered a speech to US Navy personnel on board the USS George Washington aircraft carrier at the US naval base in Yokosuka on Tuesday.

Donald Trump, US President said "The cherished alliance between the United States and Japan is one of the most remarkable relationships in the entire world. Really there’s never been anything like it. Born out of the ashes of a terrible war, our bond has grown over eight decades into the beautiful friendship that we have. It is a foundation of peace and security in the Pacific."

Prime Minister Takaichi praised Trump's efforts towards a ceasefire between Thailand and Cambodia and his "unprecedented historic achievement" of the Gaza deal.
