Trump appears in court as first ex-president facing federal charges

Former U.S. President Donald Trump pleaded not guilty at his arraignment on federal charges related to the classified documents case.

He held a media conference in New Jersey, hours after the court appearance in Miami. No other former or incumbent U.S. president has faced federal criminal charges before.
