Trump announces website launch for 'gold card'

President Donald Trump has officially launched a website for the “Trump Gold Card,” a new immigration program that offers U.S. permanent residency to foreign nationals who invest $5 million in the country. The initiative is designed to replace the existing EB-5 investor visa program, which has been in place since 1990.

The new program is expected to streamline the application process and attract significant foreign investment to the U.S. The official website, trumpcard.gov, allows individuals to express interest in the program by providing basic information such as name, region, email address, and whether they are applying as individuals or on behalf of a business.

The website features an image of a shiny, gold-colored card bearing Trump’s face, with the tagline: “The Trump Card is Coming.”  Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick announced that the website would go live within a week, and further program details would be released in the coming weeks.
