Trump announces 2nd meeting with DRPK’s Kim in Vietnam in late February

U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday announced a second meeting with the top leader of DPRK, Kim Jong Un, from Feb. 27 to Feb. 28 in Vietnam.

the two leaders took the first step toward ending the hostile history of the two sides during the meeting in Singapore in last June, and hoped that the two sides can move forward to take more concrete and substantial steps during the Vietnam meeting, spokesman of the South Korean presidential Blue House said. Vietnam welcomed the second meeting on Wednesday and strongly supported dialogues to maintain peace, security and stability on the Korean Peninsula, according to the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
