Truck drivers protest fuel shortages in Argentina

Dozens of truckers tried to enter the center of the City of Buenos Aires on Tuesday to protest the shortages and rising prices of fuel.  Carriers have been showing discontent for the past weeks, but they hoped their protest would finally draw the government's attention. The government has vowed to guarantee the fuel supply, with a load coming in the following weeks. Diesel is scarce in most of Argentine provinces, and with protests sprouting, distribution flows have been disrupted. The truckers protesting in Argentina are also demanding higher fees to transport grains.
