During 344th Governing Body of International Labour Organization (ILO), held in March 2022, Myanmar was criticized for not following the provisions of Convention 29 - forced labour Convention and Convention 87 - Freedom of Association and Protection of the Right to Organize Convention.

At present, efforts are made to reveal the difficulties and actual situations of Myanmar to ILO with the collaboration of the diplomats in Myanmar and relevant organizations to prevent unnecessary problems which can harm entrepreneurs and rights of labor.
