Trip To Taunggyi: SC Visited Behs (1) And Met With The Students

The Chairperson of the Central Committee for Development of Border Areas and National Races, state counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi visited the Basic Education High School (1), Taunggyi and inspected the teaching and learning condition of the school on Tuesday.

The Chairperson of the Central Committee for Development of Border Areas and National Races, state counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi accompanied by the union ministers and responsible officials arrived at Heho airport and were welcome by the Shan State chief minister Dr. Lin Htut, speaker of state parliament, chief justice of state high court, state ministers, parliament representatives, departmental officials and local residents at the airport.

Then, the state counsellor and entourage left for Taunggyi by motorcade and were greeted by the local residents and students from the left and right sides of the road by weaving the small national flags. Later, the state counsellor and entourage arrived at the Basic Education High School (1), Taunggyi and were greeted by the students with the traditional dances and songs.

Next, the state counsellor met with the students in front of Daw Khin Thein school building and gave the necessary guidelines to the students.

At the meeting, the state counsellor inquired the students about their most difficult subject, subject they like the most, country the like the most, about union day and their future intentions and exchanged cordial conversation with the students.

Then, the state counsellor gave the necessary guidance and suggestions to the students. Afterward, the state counsellor took a documentary photo together with the students and teachers and signed on the school guest book. Then, the alumni of the basic education high school (1) of Taunggyi presented memorable gift to the state counsellor and took a documentary group photo.

Later, the state counsellor and entourage left the basic education high school (1) and stayed overnight at Taunggyi.
