Trip To Indonesia: President Left For Indonesia To Attend ASEAN Leaders´ Gathering

By the invitation of the Indonesian President Mr. Joko Widodo, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, President U Win Myint left Nay Pyi Taw by special flight for Indonesia at 7 Am on Thursday to attend the ASEAN Leaders´ gathering to be held in Bali of Indonesia.

Myanmar delegation led by the president was seen off by vice president U Myint Swe, deputy commander in chief of defense service vice senior general Soe Win, Union minister for transport and communications U Thant Zin Maung, chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council Dr. Myo Aung, Commander of Nay Pyi Taw command Major General Myint Maw, deputy minister for the office of President U Min Thu, member of Nay Pyi Taw Council Col. Min Naung, Chief of Myanmar Police Force Police Lt. Gen. Aung Win Oo, Indonesian ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Prof. Dr.Iza Fadri and wife and the responsible officials at Nay Pyi Taw International Airport.

The President was accompanied by the union minister for commerce Dr. Than Myint, permanent secretaries U Khin Latt, U Myint Thu, U Tun Tun Naing and the senior officials from the ministry of foreign affairs.

The union minister for planning and finance U Soe Win who joins the president’s trip as a member has already left for Indonesia in advance since 10th of October to attend the annual meeting of International Monetary Fund and World Bank.
